Voici trois remixes et un mashup du fameux "Get Lucky" des Daft punk, que je trouve pas mal du tout. Notamment la version de mon pote Vincent Fries, qui remixe lègerement ce morceau (déjà culte à la base, mais ca on le savait déjà) avec bravoure, punch , une snare qui gratte (j’adore) et avec beaucoup de respect pour l’original.

I went to the movie last saturday and now I am addicted to the movie DRIVE. So I had to do something with this amazing track from the opening scene: kavinsky’s nightcall. I also want to do something with other tracks from the movie soundtrack wich is great, great, great. and if you don’t have seen the movie yet, go for it. you won’t regret it.

"virgin magnetic material" is a remix project by shai vardi, a musician and artist based in tel aviv. virgin magnetic material is a definition from the electronic world, describing core or shield material that has never been magnetized.
thans to the french mashup artist fissunix for letting me discover those amazing downtempo remixes. that "peter gabriel – in your eyes" and "peter gabriel – big time" remixes are mindblowing, and have a look at the "massive attack -teardrop" and the "metallica – nothing else matters" remix. absolutely brilliant productions.

I made it for fun, it’s gonna blow up some dancefloors, and make a natural selection between true party makers and lazy couch potatoes who are listening to james blunt all day long. so shut the f*** up everybody and move your ass to that shit. the track is only available on my official.fm account. so go and get it there!
hier ist einen zusammenschnitt dieser tollen nacht, pures mashup-wahsinn-konzentrat. mensch, ich könnt’ schon wieder.
oooh ja, es war ein fest, diese 5. bayern 3 mashup night. ich bedanke mich noch mal herzlich bei mike ratzek (mashmike) und michael medla für die nette einladung die ich natürlich sehr gerne angenommen habe. ich hatte wirklich 5 stunden purer spass bei bayern 3! wann kann mann denn schon live im radio würschtln in glas testen, russisch brot buchstabieren und mit neuen und netten freunden mashups hören? danke das ich einer meiner mashups (fettes brot is stayin’ alive) als premiere präsentieren durfte. und respekt an michael medla für seine wahsinnsarbeit während der sendung – das alles sieht keiner wenn er radio hört.
und, und natürlich durften wir / durftet ihr die stoakogler vs. pitbull entdecken, unser running-gag des abends. ich fand den mashup so gut das ich mir einen remix erlaubt habe, nicht ohne vorher dj tiffmeister, der produzent dieser perle nachzufragen. also, mit dj tiffmeister’s einvertändnis, hier ist mein remix von seinem "zillertaler hotel room service" . yuhui.

this is so funky, so deeply shitty funky, groovy, shaky-bassy, and so sexy, sexy, sexy. this IS adele’s best "rolling in the deep" remix so far. forget all others. this is fu***in’ great, thank you, thank you, thank you for that bassline, yum yum people.
everybody knows that martin solveig vs. dragonette track: "hello" . a few month ago, martin solveig decided to make a remix contest out of it and the stems were available on the net. I didn’t hear any remix yet, BUT the are tons of mashup from that track wich came out… here are a few ones, the good ones. and of course I also did something, a mashup-remix from the great michmash mashup with the french rock band telephone vs. the "hello" track. hello mashups from mighty mike, fissunix, krazyben, amoraboy and michmash. and me.

il fallait s’y attendre, non? le film a été accueilli et enseveli comme un navet. un film annoncé en 3D mais dont 45% sont en 2D, ca le fait pas, ca sent l’arnaque. une histoire à 2 sous, des acteurs visiblement ennuyés (et ennuyants)… même jeff bridges fait du mieux pour s’en sortir dans cette soupe hollywoodienne insipide. et la bande son créée par daft punk ne relève pas le niveau non plus. beaucoup de fans sont décus. mince alors.
alors voilà que disney a eu cette idée de génie que de sortir un album de remixes basés sur cette bande originale du film. et quand je vois les artistes remixeurs, pour ma part, je me lèche les babines: moby, the crystal method, boyz noise, photek (wouah!) the glitch mob ou encore sander kleinenberg. mais quand je vois dans la même liste le nom de paul oakenfold, c’est vrai que je tique également. mais je vais me laisser surprendre par cet album qui sort le 4 avril. je suis bien curieux de voir ce que ca donne.
de l’autre côté, y en a effectivement a qui cet album ne plait pas trop, pour ne pas dire pas du tout: busy p par exemple. son pamphlet publié sur son blog vaut le détour. apparemment, "les daft n’auraient pas été consultés pour le choix des remixs qui, pour busy b, ne semble pas relever du meilleur gout : "Bien sur, certains remixs sont bien et vous savez qu’il y a même quelques uns de mes amis sur ce CD, mais ça ne suffit pas ! Un chef d’oeuvre comme la BO de Tron méritait ce qu’il y a de meilleur et je suis triste de découvrir que les responsables chez Disney achètement leur musique électronique dans des magasins d’aéroports ! Hereusement, j’ai trouvé ce super remix "inédit" ou plutôt "refusé" signé de nos cousins belges Goose. C’est le genre de ré-interpretation qu’aurait méritait le travail des Daft pour cet album de remix ! " . merci busy p. je cours de ce pas l’écouter, cet album.
