I went to the movie last saturday and now I am addicted to the movie DRIVE. So I had to do something with this amazing track from the opening scene: kavinsky’s nightcall. I also want to do something with other tracks from the movie soundtrack wich is great, great, great. and if you don’t have seen the movie yet, go for it. you won’t regret it.

I made it for fun, it’s gonna blow up some dancefloors, and make a natural selection between true party makers and lazy couch potatoes who are listening to james blunt all day long. so shut the f*** up everybody and move your ass to that shit. the track is only available on my official.fm account. so go and get it there!

hier ist einen zusammenschnitt dieser tollen nacht, pures mashup-wahsinn-konzentrat. mensch, ich könnt’ schon wieder.
oooh ja, es war ein fest, diese 5. bayern 3 mashup night. ich bedanke mich noch mal herzlich bei mike ratzek (mashmike) und michael medla für die nette einladung die ich natürlich sehr gerne angenommen habe. ich hatte wirklich 5 stunden purer spass bei bayern 3! wann kann mann denn schon live im radio würschtln in glas testen, russisch brot buchstabieren und mit neuen und netten freunden mashups hören? danke das ich einer meiner mashups (fettes brot is stayin’ alive) als premiere präsentieren durfte. und respekt an michael medla für seine wahsinnsarbeit während der sendung – das alles sieht keiner wenn er radio hört.
und, und natürlich durften wir / durftet ihr die stoakogler vs. pitbull entdecken, unser running-gag des abends. ich fand den mashup so gut das ich mir einen remix erlaubt habe, nicht ohne vorher dj tiffmeister, der produzent dieser perle nachzufragen. also, mit dj tiffmeister’s einvertändnis, hier ist mein remix von seinem "zillertaler hotel room service" . yuhui.
everybody knows that martin solveig vs. dragonette track: "hello" . a few month ago, martin solveig decided to make a remix contest out of it and the stems were available on the net. I didn’t hear any remix yet, BUT the are tons of mashup from that track wich came out… here are a few ones, the good ones. and of course I also did something, a mashup-remix from the great michmash mashup with the french rock band telephone vs. the "hello" track. hello mashups from mighty mike, fissunix, krazyben, amoraboy and michmash. and me.

halli galli drecksound, c’est la soirée dingue avec un concept dingue: tu passes que du son qui fout bien le bordel, mais tu ne passes que la partie du morceau qui fout le plus le bordel. tu me suis? ca veut dire que tu enchaines toutes les minutes un autre morceau. du sport quoi. et comme dit dans un autre article plus bas, aucun droit à l’erreur. les enchainements qui ne sont pas "in key" et "in tempo" tu oublies. ah oui, j’oubliais, pour bien foutre la patate au public, tu rajoute un mc derrière le dj qui fout bien le feu aux fesses (du dj et du public)!
bon, être dj à halli galli drecksound, ca c’est fait. une soirée absolument dingue, non seulement de par la prestation incroyable des djs résidents (rok’am et thomas), mais également de par un public chaud bouillant et réceptif. perso, j’aurais aimé avoir un public moins réceptif durant 2 moments de mon set, les 2 moments où sous une pression telle j’ai coupé le son maladroitement – fausse manipulation digne d’un débutant – et dire que j’en ai encore honte à l’instant où je rédige cet article. bon, le rattrapage a été rapide, et le public ne l’a pas pris mal. mais moi, ou plutôt mon égo l’a très mal pris vis-à-vis de deux dinosaures de l’enchainement bien travaillé, deux génies du fader et du serato, deux as du calage qui ont du bien se marrer en me voyant patauger dans la mouise. ca leur rappelait leurs débuts, m’ont-ils confiés. d’accord. eh ouais, c’est comme ca. un challenge ne peut pas se gagner sans faute à chaque fois non plus. et puis pour un set serré comme ca, il faut s’entrainer, s’entrainer, s’entrainer, y a pas de secret. j’ai pris mes 2 claques de débutant, mais ca va… je m’en suis quand même sorti. merci également aux potes présents pour leur soutien et leurs cris (!) , c’est bien d’avoir des gens autour de toi qui te soutiennent, ca fait un bien fou, dans toutes les circonstances…
un peu mal à la tête aujourd’hui, mais d’excellents souvenirs. et puis le meilleur moment de la soirée c’est quand même quand quelques personnes du public viennent te voir après ton set en te disant "alter, absolut geiler sound". et là, tu souris (intérieurement aussi) et tu te régales.
