I went to the movie last saturday and now I am addicted to the movie DRIVE. So I had to do something with this amazing track from the opening scene: kavinsky’s nightcall. I also want to do something with other tracks from the movie soundtrack wich is great, great, great. and if you don’t have seen the movie yet, go for it. you won’t regret it.

I am a huge fan of the “boot of the day” page on facebook. one day, one mashup. and sometimes the selectors that are invited make very cool mashup choices. like ComaR, those two passed weeks. here is his complete mashup selection, with all the download links you need. you’ll find some nice gems in it.
rap + pop : raop. cro ist de raop-king, aus benztown. oh pardon, aus stuttgart. ich habe cro durch matuschke/bayern 3 entdeckt (what else?), er ist diese woche zum zweiten mal “liebling der woche” in Matuschke’s radio show. und diese nummer ist doch einfach arschgeil, oder?
also musste ich cro mashen. keine ahnung ob er sich darüber freuen wird, ist ja auch nicht unbedingt ein reiner mashup geworden. eher so etwas wie “easy – part 2″ oder sowas. egal, kommentiere einfach ob es passt oder nicht. mir passt es so. und cro ist einfach (warte mal, ich halte mir kurz die nase zu, für den sound) “die zukunft von deutsch-rap”. habe ich nicht gesagt, sondern jan delay. alles klar?

le nouveau single de gotye “somebody i used to know” déjà placé number one de la belgique à la hollande en passant par l’australie déferle en ce moment sur les ondes partout en europe et innode les charts. une bonne raison pour en faire un mashup, ou deux ou quinze. voici une petit sélection de bootlegs à la gotye. je commencerai par mon préféré, celui de ViC, associant gotye à patrick coutin. une vrai merveille bien ficelée et excellemment structurée. ayant eu la même idée mais étant trop lent, hihi, j’en suis presque jaloux en fait.
ensuite, deux bootlegs assez innovatifs réalisés par l’impeccable mighty mike. la première version avec crystal waters, et la deuxième (qui sonne comme un original!) avec un instrumental de madeon.
krazyben opte pour un bootleg sobre en faisant chanter gotye avec madcon.
même amy winehouse n’échappera pas au phénomène “je te mashe à gotye” grâce à Dra’Man qui mélange son “back to black” à qui? ben oui, gotye.
dj schmolli utilise dans son mashup avec gotye le morceau de jess mills – “live for what i’d die for”.
pour terminer, je rajouterai un petit remix de la version originale de gotye – “somebody i used to know”. en fait, il s’agit de la version originale du morceau avec des ajouts de batteries et de percussions, histoire de faire groover la chose. le tout est réalisé par dj evans.
bon gotye à tous, en espérant qu’il ne va pas nous sortir par les oreilles… il n’a quand même pas mérité ca.
en tant que grand fan, il fallait bien que je sorte au moins un mashup avec jean michel jarre un jour ou l’autre. maintenant c’est fait. et je dois dire que j’en suis assez fier. ce mashup a été réalisé pour la 200ième de l’émission “les mixs de contact” sur radio contact (belgique) et a été diffusé en exclusivité le vendredi 9 décembre dernier sur les ondes.
